From initial consultation to flawless execution, we guide you through every step of creating your perfect event.
1. You Shortlist
You shortlist. Click ‘Add to shortlist’ on the venues that match — we send the full shortlist with pricing within 24 hours.
2. Follow up call
We walk you through the shortlist. A 20-minute call with a senior planner. We confirm availability, suitability, and price. No obligation to use G&D for planning.
3. You Choose
Pick some venues to view, we show you round. We discuss budget, dates suitability and you decide.
4. Optional
We help you plan the rest. Catering, styling, entertainment, production. Or you take the venue and stop there. Either way, the venue is yours.
Typical timeline: From consultation to event, we typically work with 8- 12 weeks lead time, though we can accommodate shorter timescales for certain events.
FAQ
How much do London party venues cost?
Hire fees range from £500 for a private dining room to £85,000+ for an exclusive-use historic venue. We aim to send pricing on every venue in your shortlist within 24 hours. There is no fixed ‘per head’ venue cost — each venue price differs for hire, minimum spend, AV, and staffing.
Do I have to use G&D for event planning if I find a venue here ?
No. The venue-finding service is offered as a standalone for a flat fee. If you choose to use G&D for full event management, the venue-finding fee is credited back to your planning budget.
How far in advance should I book a London party venue?
We have found venues for the following week, but the longer we get the better your options. Three months is comfortable for most venues. The most-requested venues (Banqueting House, the Roundhouse, the Old Royal Naval College) need 9–12 months for a Friday or Saturday in December, March, or June. We can usually find equivalent venues at 8–10 weeks’ notice; under that, options narrow.
Can I see a venue before I commit?
Yes. Every shortlisted venue can be visited in person before you pay anything. We arrange viewings within 5 working days for venues on the active list.
What if my guest count changes?
We always make sure the venues we select have a range to cover a reasonable swing in numbers up or down.
Can you work within my budget?
Yes. We’ve successfully planned events ranging from intimate gatherings of 20 people to large-scale celebrations for 2000+ guests. During our initial consultation, we discuss your budget openly and create a plan that maximises impact within your financial parameters.
