The Creative Minds Behind G&D Events

At G&D Events, our team is the backbone of our business. We’re a group of passionate event-planning experts who bring together years of experience and a wide range of skills to create unforgettable experiences for our clients. From event design and theming to logistics, catering, and entertainment, our team members each have their own unique area of expertise, but all share a commitment to providing exceptional service and attention to detail. We believe that successful events are the result of a collaborative effort, and we work closely with our clients to turn their dream into reality. Dylan Amlot
Director & Founder

After enjoying a successful career in the music industry as a producer and DJ, Dylan founded the company in 2008. His innate talent for organising parties made him the go-to person for event planning, and his business quickly grew. Nowadays, Dylan remains very hands-on with his company, viewing all his local clientele as A-listers. He consistently comes up with creative and unique ideas for events, keeping his clients’ satisfaction at the forefront.

 

When Dylan isn’t planning events, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two beautiful children. He’s also an avid cyclist, relishing the opportunity to ride through the peaceful hills of Slovakia or the bustling streets of London in between meetings.

Anne Smith
Events Director

Anne has been an integral part of the G&D team since 2013, bringing with her more than two decades of experience in the events industry. She made an immediate impact on the company, organising and executing some of our most prestigious events. Although Anne relocated back to the West Country to start a family, her passion for event planning never wavered. Now, with two adorable children and a handsome Fox Red Lab by her side, Anne has returned to G&D to help steer the ship alongside Dylan.

 

When she’s not busy planning incredible events, Anne loves to soak up the great outdoors, whether that’s gardening or skydiving! And as for her love of Christmas? We challenge you to find someone who loves Christmas time more than Anne!

Natalia Amlot
Creative Director

Natalia is not only a brilliant food expert, but she also serves as our Creative Director. Her remarkable talent and skills in both areas make her an essential part of our team. Whether she’s conjuring up unique menus or sharing imaginative ideas, Natalia always brings her creativity to the forefront, which we love.

 

Despite her busy schedule at G&D Events and other successful ventures, Natalia remains a devoted mother to her two little ones. And when she’s not working, she enjoys skiing on the beautiful slopes of her home country of Slovakia with her friends. After a day of skiing, she loves to unwind with a glass or two of bubbly at après-ski.

Martyna Kurmanska
Events Manager

Martyna joined G&D in 2018 as an Event Manager and quickly proved to be an invaluable member of the team. Her exceptional attention to detail, hardworking nature, and ability to lead from the front make her an asset to the company.  In addition to her event management skills, Martyna also excels at office management. She ensures that all administrative tasks are handled with precision and that the office runs smoothly.

 

From selecting venues to managing budgets and schedules, Martyna’s proactive approach and organisational skills keep the team on track and ensure that deadlines are met. She is always willing to go above and beyond to make sure that every event is a success.

Jack Galliano
Executive Chef

Meet Jack, our skilled Executive Chef and culinary virtuoso. Jack began his culinary journey by receiving training at Westminster Kingsway College, after which he quickly immersed himself in the culinary world at Claridges, where he advanced from commis to chef de partie.

 

Following his tenure at Claridges, Jack served as a junior sous chef at The Square, a 2 Michelin-starred restaurant, before assuming the role of Head Chef at Perilla restaurant.

 

Currently, Jack leads the fine dining team at G&D, catering to high-net-worth individuals across the globe. Additionally, he has expertise in managing and operating fully Kosher events.

Rob Mander
Head of AV & Production

Rob is an expert in AV production with over 20 years of experience in the events industry. As the Head of AV & Production, he leads a team of highly trained professionals who consistently deliver exceptional events that exceed client expectations, providing production design and the latest in technology. Rob and his team have extensive expertise in specialist rigging, lighting, and staging, which adds a unique dimension to each event.

 

When he isn’t on-site at an event, behind a computer screen working on production designs, or at the warehouse prepping for an event, Rob enjoys practicing yoga and exploring the spiritual benefits of tantric practices.

Archie Smith
Runner & Fetcher

Our seasoned office dog who started his career at a tender age of 12 weeks. Since joining our team at G&D Events in 2022, Archie has been paw-fecting his skills as a ‘Runner & Fetcher’, always ready to lend a paw and ensure the office runs like a well-oiled machine. From delivering important objects to running errands, Archie is always on the move, eager to assist in any way possible.

 

But Archie isn’t just a hard-working pooch; he’s also a playful and affectionate companion who loves snuggling up with his favourite team member, Anne, during breaks. His outgoing and friendly personality makes him a real tail-wagger, and we feel so lucky to have him brightening up our office with his wagging tail every day.

 

G&D History

As these things often do, G&D came about by chance. About 13 years ago, our founder, Dylan, was a DJ. And it fell on Dylan to pull a party together for his circle. One party became two; two parties became five. With consistently glowing receptions, these parties began to increase in size, scope, and complexity, until it became clear that throwing parties was Dylan’s calling.

 

As G&D’s ambitions grew, so too did its staff — bringing in expertise from all corners of the events world. From corporate parties and conferences to private celebrations, weddings, and beyond. We’ve picked up a whole universe of knowledge, experience, expertise, and a coveted list of contacts over the years.

Unique and interesting menus, custom theming, celebrity guests; if anyone can make it happen, we can.
